Cranmere is a vibrant 2-form entry school in Surrey which takes pride in being inclusive, and welcomes pupils from a wide range of backgrounds. The school has made a commitment to ICT and computing over the last few years and thanks to the fundraising efforts of 'The Friends of Cranmere' (our PTA) we have been really fortunate to be able to equip our Computing suite with new PCs.
To make the most of these, in addition to the 2 ongoing Code Clubs (one for Y3-4, one for Y5-6) there is an extremely popular ICT club. Cranmere children are really passionate about computing, so much so that last year some KS2 pupils offered and ran software classes for parents!
Our network of Star Clubs are happy to welcome visitors and you can expect a friendly and enthusiastic greeting from the adults and kids who take part in the club.
You can take the visit at your own pace - feel free to sit at the side and observe or get stuck straight in answering questions and working on the projects alongside the children.
Make sure that you let the teacher and volunteer carry on with their club as normal - save up your questions for after the children have left.
